Hi everyone, I'm new to this site so let me start by saying hello.
I have fibromyalgia, and a sleep disorder. Basically I sleep but don't get stages 3 and 4,
so I might as well stay up all night because I'm just exhausted. Well, you know how it is.
It's more than being tired or sleepy, it's hard to function.
Anyway, my sleep Doc just got me a prescription for a drug called Seroquel. has anyone tried it? or heard of it?

Seroquel is a strong drug . It seems strange to me that a doctor would
give this for insomnia. Here's a link about it.http://www.drugs.com/seroquel.html

You may want to have a talk with your doctor about this.
There are safer drugs to be using that are actually for sleep disorders.
Your doctor has a lot of explaining to do.

I just looked up some more stuff on it .And it looks like they are giving this for sleep disorders in small doses . I just seem strange to me that they would prescribe and anti psychotic instead of something a bit gentler?

Anyways I hope you get some rest soon. Take care.
