Anyone have severe problems with pain in the upper leg on the outsides? I think there is a bursae sack in there that gets really flared. Feels like someone is drilling a jagger thru there. Not sure what in the world to do for it>?

It's from calcium deposits on the tendon near the head of the femur. I use heat, anti-inflammatories and massage. Massage helped the most. Had to go every 2 weeks for 4 visits but it was worth it. I tried a joint injection, but it really didn't help. If you are dealing with a bursitis, you would treat it the same way. If you can get it evaluated it would be good to know exactly what you are dealing with. Hope this helps. -Karen
