I was injured at work on June 13th and still having lots of pain in the shoulder and the neck. I sustained tendenitis in my rotor cuff and strained my neck. I work in mental hospital and gothit in the jaw and right shoulder.

How long does someone with fibro have pain in these?
I am going to have cortisone injected in to the rotor uff on Tuesday and I do not know what the Dr. will do with my neck. She gave me anti-flammatory and is trying to get my workers comp insurer to approve more therapy on my neck. She states she has a different approach. I had 30 visits from one physcial therapists, but the neck is still very painful.

does anyone have any suggestions. My nursing career maybe coming to an end.

When I first became sick with CFS years ago, I had a whiplash injury also. The FMS settled mostly in this area. I don't know what it is like to be pain free. I work in home health, which is less physically stressful and is flexible with the hours. You just tell the office what your limitations are and they will work with you when assigning client to you. I don't make a lot of money, but I am working again.
