A friend of mine (who also has fibro) was asking if I knew anything about the new flexible, colorful, silicone bakeware (muffin pans, cake pans etc.. It looks like it could be good - wouldn't rust etc. Are there any concerns about chemicals leaching or any other problems? Also does it work well?

If you have tried it or know anything more about it could you let me know? Thanks

On another board (autism related) this question was being asked also. No one seems to have any negative information, but still alot of people are leery of it. Look at the Teflon stuff and how long it has been on the market and NOW they are asking questions about it.

The baked goods do not come out the same. They also don't taste right to me or my husband.

They do bake faster and clean up is easy. But because things don't taste right I no longer use them.
