Anyone on this board try the Dr. Strande and the Simply Healing Clinic from Irvine, California? He's a naturopathic and alternative specialist and makes great claims for healing CFS in 3 months. Is this too good to be true?

Anyone experience this? Is this just another exaggerated claim?

He does telephone consultations for $180.

Ralph, have you heard of him. What is your opinion?

I'm so desperate to get well, and nothing seems to work.

Can you tell me the doc's name that you saw? I'm in the Jax area also and always looking for different approaches. Thanks...

My beliefs are if it sounds too good to be true - it usually is. You don't want to spend hard earned money on a hoax. Others here might be able to help you better but that's just my opinion.

I think there are a lot of docs out there benefiting from our pain/illness. They charge a lot - because the can - but with very little/few results.

    Please keep us posted!

I would be very weary of someone who says they can look at/into, your eyes and detect health problems. Iridology was debunked already in the 80's. I do believe in keeping your mind open to things but thats ridiculous. Just seriously think about it. Just be careful. Bet.

I just think people should go into things with their eyes wide open(no pun intended) when desperately searching for help. I just mentioned that this was debunked a long time ago- "studies" proved that too. Gotta be careful of studies, who did the study, Why did they do the study, whos best interest that is.
I think there are alot of things that can happen that cant be explained and thats the beauty of it. But on this iridology one, I just dont believe it to be true. You would have to have more than one study to prove that. IMO.
Its good that you had an experience where you could help someone like that MD. Thats great.

Everyone has their own opinions- About everything,as we all know, I was simply stating my opinion in passing- I worry that people do things out of desperation, like that post about IV solutions of HYDROGEN PEROXIDE!!! Its not her fault, she was trusting someones else opinion and thats nuts!

Do you include that as part of your treatment plan? I am curious what someone with Fibromyalgias eyes look like. I wanna check mine out. I would think that if health problems that come and go in someones life time, would keep showing up in someones eye patterns-would be quite noticable-alot. Or is this something you need an "instrament" to see? Well... anyway, just things I wonder about.

    Take care~Bet.

Thanks for your reply -- sorry I'm late w/a response!

Actually, you named the person I suspected you would. After you see her, could you post a review? I actually had written her name down when I found it on a list of integrative practitioners in the NE Florida area a few months ago, but I haven't had time to follow up yet. As I'm sure you can imagine, it started out a very short list, but it is slowly growing.

Hope things go well for you.

Dr. Strande has helped me recover from my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in less then 3 months. I am very thankful i found him. I still need to loose weight but my priority was to be able to funtion mentally and physically. I will go back to weight loss in a couple of months when i pay off a few bills.
