My 2 sleep studies confirm that I have Sleep Apnea. I used a C-Pap for 3 years and am now trying a dental device to keep my airway open at night. The trouble is that even though I am treating the Apnea I still don't get a good night's sleep. I never get past sleep level 2. I have a complete absence of restorative sleep which are levels 3 and 4. I do get some REM sleep, but never get into a deep sleep and I am exhausted all the time. I wake frequently and have trouble getting back to sleep. I only get fragmented sleep and very little of it. I am so depressed. Does anyone else have this problem? I am very open to any suggestions. Please help me!

Were your sleep studies done with the cpap and you still stop breathing?

I am currently going through the same issues, been using a cpap for 2 years and taking Trazodone and still sleeping poorly. I haven't had another sleep study yet but my new sleep specialist put me on Mirapex because just from talking to me he seems to believe I have RLS.

So right now I use all three and am sleeping better and feeling much better. My dr wants me off the Traz but he's going to have to come up with something else because I don't sleep well without it.

If you aren't sleeping well keep pushing your dr to find a solution. It may not solve all your fatigue but it can help tremendously.

    Good luck,
