If I don't sleep well my symtpoms are worse the next day.
I am not very active during the day so I don't sleep well at night.
If I don't sleep well I feel worse the next day.
    It is a neverending cycle.

Have you tried a sleep med? I use Ambien CR. It really helps.

If you are not into meds Valarian Root might be an alternative.

It didn't work so well for me, but it does for others.

I would consider getting a sleep study. There's no way to gauge our sleep quality without one. A neurologist that specializes in sleep can also tell you if meds you take, if any, are disrupting your sleep quality. After five year with fibro, I'm finally getting a better night's sleep. I wish I had gotten the sleep study much sooner!! If your insurance covers it, it's worth doing. Good luck!!

P.S. Meds like Ambien CR will PUT you to sleep, but they will disrupt stages 3 and 4 sleep (aka DELTA sleep), which we must have to get high quality, refreshing sleep. It's so tempting to take those, but it will hurt in the long run.

Again, good luck and all the best,
