He called me at 4am my time this morning to tell me he missed his flight. His Dad got him to the airport only 30 minutes before departure and he wasn't through security before takeoff. Anyway, his dad left him there without giving him his cell phone number or any extra cash. Swell guy ,huh? Anyway I tracked his dad down and he picked him up but instead of putting him the late flight as planned he sent him out early this afternoon. He headed to Dallas not knowing that his connecting flight to Portland was cancelled.
It took a lot of phone calls but once Delta understood the situation about him being disabled with Asperger's and OCD they were so helpful. The concourse manager from Dallas called me and he met my son as he got off the plane and had him call me. This man then made arrangements for him to fly back to Tampa this evening all at no charge. He then reissued my son's ticket for his original times so he can leave on Friday morning. Then he made sure he was fed and got him to his plane back to Tampa.
As of right now all flights in and out of Portland are cancelled. They are having freezing rain and conditions are not good. But a warming trend comes tomorrow and through the weekend so he should get through on Friday.
And God bless my wonderful brother in law. He is staying in Salem until he can bring my son home.
And God bless all of you for your prayers.Thank you so much.
I know God will see my son and brother in law safely home.

Lois, I just now read your prayer request. I have prayed and will continue to pray for your son until he gets home safely with your brother-in-law. God is watching over him. I can understand what a concern this has been for you.

Welcome to the Worship Board! Please let us know when he arrives home.

You must be so worried about your son.
Praise the Lord for that concourse manager that helped your son so much.
I will continue to pray for your son and brother-in-law until they return home safely.

    Many Blessings to you, Judy <a href='' target='_blank'><img src='' border=0></a>

You have already been blessed, that man that helped your son must be an angel from God in this day and age! Whoever he is he deserves the Lord's blessings too.

Will be praying for your boy and your brother and in law to finally get home safely.

God bless, and keep them both in His care.

    Shalom, Shirl
