PS: Pages beyond 7 don't show below, so if you want to play, go to page 7, then look for the latest page. It fooled me! and, can't believe how popular this is!)

I found this game on another forum, sounded like it could be fun.
    Simple Rules:
    1) I start with a 1-2 line song phrase...
    2) The following post will provide another song phrase from a different artist or song title.
    3) Next song phrase should contain the last word of the previous song phrase in "random order"...

Note: Please specify the artist and the song at the end of your phrase

OK I will start with initial phrase and then a followup as an example, y'all take it from there.. hope you wanna play!

"Well I might go crazy, I might go to Mexico
You’re too far away as far as I can see.."
(-Mexico or Crazy by Jason Boland & the Stragglers)

    A response could be:

'I said I just dropped in to see what condition my condition was in..."
(Sung by Kenny Rogers in -?- band, way back when, song is same name)

Not sure if it's possible to shape up into a story, probably hard enough to come up with follow-ups!

    When you tell your story,
    Make sure your story's right;
Every little single word is true.
    'See what' love can do.

I read your post yesterday. Couldn't make any sense outta it. I'm a little
less foggy today. See if I've got it right.

Let us sing more cheerful songs,
    more full of joy!
    Joy, bright spark of divinity.
Join in our song of praise.

    From Beethoven's 9th Symphony.
    Ode to Joy

whaddy think? Is "random order" an oxymoron?

"All Glory and Praise to our God,who alone gives light to our days, many are the blessinges He brings to those who trust in His ways"....don't know the author, but since it's Sunday I thought this would be appropriate!.... Way is the next word.....

that was hard. I even looked for a song about Mt. Rainier LOL....

    "Inside I was always prepared
    'Cause when we're together,
    In rainier weather,
    Clouds made our vision IMPAIRED"

Tho I don't think the word 'impaired' will be easy either....

Other than the one you cited Victoria, this was hard, well here it is: "I learned to duck from words like bullets from a gun.How long can you pray and still not see a change?Faithfully remain......~~~Ben Harper. REMAIN is up next!!!

find a refrain that contains remain.

I found a song called "Memories Remain", but the lyrics don't seem to include
    the word remain.

And then i found a song called "Songs Remain".

"People change, but songs remain in our hearts."

I don't think that's true though. I think it is more accurate to say that
that songs sometimes get stuck in our heads. SOL

    (Smiling out loud.)

Well, I had more to say, but this is getting a bit long, so I'll just skip
    the remainder.
