I haven't posted on the board in quite sometime as my health and home life has been in an absolute uproar. I applied April 2007 and was denied twice, appealed Feb 08 and was waiting for a court date. To which they had advised me that is could take 18-24 months to see a judge.

Got the mail today and saw a stuffed envelope from the SSA. Opened it thinking that is was the papers for my court date and to my surprise it was their decision letter stating
"Fully Favorable" dated yesterday and received today.

I just about passed out, I was crying so hard from disbelief that my youngest daughter thought someone had died. I still am having a hard time believing it, I pretty much had resolved myself to spending a day in court sometime in 2010.

Not sure what all the information enclosed means, but I guess I will ask ALLSUP come Monday. Allsup represented me from day one and did all the work.

You know we are sick and make ourselves even sicker with the stress and pain of having to endure the SSA demands.

Right now, thou I am feeling somewhat relieved, there is an empty almost numbing feeling going on within me right this very minute. Very hard to explain.

Please don't give up, there is obviously hope, it just comes very slowly to most of us. God Bless!

So happy to hear another win! I had my hearing on June 6th and still waiting for my decision. It's sure been encouraging lately with all the wins. I know you must be so relieved and can now have some peace and focus on feeling better. Enjoy!

Oh honey I am so happy for you. I think I am 9 years older then you and I recently applied based on FM?CFS arthrtis. The lady at the local office in Yakima thinks I have a great chance at being approved right off.

Luckily for me they sent my application to Spokane.

You have NO idea how much your post has given me hope! I am on exactly the SAME path. Almost the exact same time table. I am with Allsup too! I am just waiting for the hearing date too.

I only PRAY that I can be as fortunate. God Bless you and try to relax now. You still have to deal with this least you have one less worry on your plate.

"The claimant has the following severe impairments(s): chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, degenerative joint-disease-cervical/lumbar spine, affective disorder,anxiety-related disorder, and somatoform disorder."

"The severity of the claimants affective disorder alone meets the criteria of" such and such sections.

There is apparently three sections A & B and/or C that you have to satisfy either medically and or psychologically and I qualified for all three sections.

I had one letter from my psychologist, one SSA medical questionaire that my DO filled out and over 200 pages of medical records/labs for just the past 2 years. My pain specialist/MD never got the time to write his letter. I have had Medicaid for medical for the past two years, so I received very limited testing. They wouldn't pay for the MRI's that were needed and the Infectious Disease DR wouldn't accept Medicaid.

They did accept some MRI's that I had completed in 2005 thou from a neurologist, thank god.

I consider myself very lucky at this point, I'm still in disbelief.

A heartfelt thanks for the many kind replys to this posting. I can only hope/pray the rest to follow for all those here on the board who suffer daily as well.

I have no doubt that all the stress of waiting to hear, the continued refusal of medical practioners refusing to accept Medicaid hurt me more psychologically.

I will be looking forward to getting better medical treatment as well, once I get the Medicare benefits.

    God Bless

Allsup is awesome. I just know I couldn't have done it with out them last year.

I can imagine the stress off your shoulders. Take time to celebrate and relax with your loved ones.

I haven't been on here in a long time. I am so happy to hear you got approved. I got my first denial and an appeal has been filed. I sure hope I get the same results that you have gotten!
