Hello I was reading a post you had responded to Snog about disability. You stated your husband was 37 when he was awarded SSDI. I have a question I am 29 and have to appeal after denial for SSDI. They stated that Surgery has contained my last disease of histiocytosis and the aches and pains. I also suffer from depression. Just diagnosed with FMS in Nov after the denial. Can't afford a lawyer. What shall my next step be should I reapply or appeal.

Unless you win.No money upfront so don't let that stop you.

The lawyers get paid if you win .They get 25% of whatever your back pay is.

If you loose you pay nothing.

Appeal and get a lawyer if one will take your case. With a history of depression, you may be more likely to win your case than if you just had FM alone. As others replied, the lawyer only gets paid if you win, usually. Good luck.
