    What happens if someone hasn't been able to work for years so doesnt have 40 credits? Can you still get state? What options are out there??? Please help I know someone in Arizona

    is SSI which is a supplemental income for people who have low income and don't qualify for SSDI.

    Look into SSI.

    Thanks to all of you who have responded. I will let my sister know to look into AZ state options, SSI etc.... It is nice to feel support
