For the past couple of weeks I've been experiencing a sharp, stabbing pain in my back between my shoulder blades. At first I t hought it was just a cramp from a bad sleeping position. But, it hasn't gone away. It just catches me by surprise when I stand or sit or turn or breathe. I'm wondering what it could be.

Has anyone felt this? What does pleurisy feel like?

Some days I get so tired of this disease. Wouldn't it be great to feel good ?

    Thanks,

I've been having those too. More in the last couple of weeks but have had them on and off. I'm wondering if it is stress in my case right now. But I've read,I think, that women have different symptoms than men with heart attacks and I always worry that might be part of it cause heart disease runs in both sides of my family.

Gallstones can cause a stabbing like pain in your right shoulder blade and go around to your side-they say it can feel just like you are having a heart attack. I have been having similar pains in same area. Doctor suggested I have a gallbladder ultrasound. May not even be related but just thought I would share this with you.

Thanks for responding, but it's not gallstones in my case. I had my gallbladder removed 6 years ago.
