I'm new to FM. (being dz NOT having it). My question is: are there signs that you're fixing to have a flare or does it just happen?

Lately I've been hurting more and in different areas than I normally do. My nerves are shot. I feel like I'm in a funk but I'm really starting to hurt more and have other "little" problems that go with FM.

Could this be the start of a flare or am I just going through a rough spell?

    Thanks for any answers!!!!!!

Thanks for the GOOD and HELPFUL advise!! I've soaked my ankle in Epson salt for years but never thought about taking a bath in it.I'll try that one out! My husband is going to the store to look for some of the items listed for me to try. Thanks for everyone at this board.I'm new to this and this board has reealy helped.I've even gotton my husband to sign up for it to read the post.
That's helped more than me trying to explain how it feels to have FM.[This Message was Edited on 12/12/2006]

My viruses will flare if I spike my sugar levels. My daughter makes cookies and brownies just about every night...hard to resist.

If I get too cold for too long...this will flare up my depression, fatigue, sinus and muscle aches.

If you can find a M.D. or D.O. that understand CFS and FM, then you can find what virus is ailing you. Then you can target specific Transfer Factors.

Also consider enzyme treatment. It's working for my mom's FM! She uses 6 caps/day. 3 morning + 3 evening. See the research done by William Wong N.D. :
