Just so you know, I asked my doc. for blood tests. It turns out I had swung into severe hypo thyroidism. He doubled my thyroid medication and gave me Maxalt for the migraines, the latter of which, my insurance will cover! I feel better just knowing there was a chemical component to my depression and my severely scrambled brain.

I am still grieving the death of my Father strongly, and still recovering from surgery, but I don't feel in crisis mode anymore. That is, I still feel horrible, but I know the medication will help. Also, I talked to my sister, and she seemed calmer, and was not accusatory. (I think the "assertive" e-mail I sent her may have helped).

Thanks for all your support; I was especially moved by those of you who shed tears over me (you know whom I mean). Thanks to all who posted and e-mailed.

I'm SO glad you're feeling better and have gotten your thyroid sorted out.
