The last time I posted was a couple of weeks ago and emotionally I was in a very bad state.
The support and advice that I received from everyone here in reply to that post was more helpful than any of you could ever know so thank you!

my frame of mind at that time was one of constant grief and devastation.
But since my last post I have begun seeing a very supportive therapist who has been helping me learn alot of
helpful skills for emotionally dealing with my pain.
I now feel that for the first time in a long time that the heavy cloud of helplessness that was hanging over my head is lifting.
Thank you again everyone for the support, I'd be lost without this site!

When I first had FM symptoms and felt totally helpless, I started seeing a therapist, too, one that dealt with people going through chronic illness. It really helped; she became a real advocate for me, in fact it was she that first wondered about Fibromyalgia before myself or any other doctor did.

So I do think you are definitely on to something that will be very helpful!
