    Stormy,

I have just noticed, that i don't see you around as much.

I really hope that's because you are feeling better, and getting your life back?

I do see on a recent post you have been out of town.

anyways, miss seeing you around, you have contributed so much here, and i've learned alot from you.

Hope that grandson, is still doing super!

I do have a question for you; from the time you were at your sickest, until now, what percentage have you got back to??

What percentage of "normal" are functioning at?

I have been taking ABX for a possible lymes infection, and i'm at the point that they want me to add a second on to the ceftin.

I've been wanting to quit, and let my body have a break, and i'm worried about the yeast getting way out of hand.

Also i seem to struggle with depression way more on the ABX.

Do you feel you suceccfully treated lymes without using ABX?

You did think you had lymes if i remember correctly?

So glad your getting to enjoy that baby boy! Your daughter is very lucky to have you, when i had my first child, who was a fussy one, i had no family or friends to help.

It was awful, and wonderful, all at the same time!

    love,

I also wanted to say Thank you for all your very informative posts. When I first came on this board your posts helped A LOT to understand this DD and start to get back on my feet.

I have just been diagnosed with LYME as well. I had no idea and only tested because people here were posting about it and thought what the hell I should do it. Actually I started getting double vision and that made me think I might have it.

As for treatments, I saw a very good doc last week (specialist) and he said I'm not doing too bad, so he has me on the Cumanda, Samento and Burbur protocal.

Have you heard about this? If so, what do you think about it? Do you think I can beat LYME with herbs, without doing ABX? I know you've done it, but I have Hashimotos, so becuase of the Autoimmune thing I don't want to boost the Immune System too much... I'm kinda confused.. don't know how this will effect me..

I was wondering, do you have any Autoimmune stuff? The reason I'm asking if you do, is becuase you've done so well with the supps and I would love to do the same protocal, but I'm just worried about the Immune System.

Anyways, have a great day and thanks :)

So do you still have the Autoimmune or did it get fixed after treating the infections?

From all the research I've done, it seems to me that once we get rid of the infections, the Autoimmune should go away as well. Or maybe it's just wishfull thinking!

Anyways, I will keep you posted on my progress and will keep in mind your advice about taking breaks and doing the Probiotic.

    Thanks and take care.

Ok. I looked at your other post and wrote a reply there too.

I think after the herbal stuff I should be ok. Of course it's too soon to tell. Hopefully we can all beat the damn infections that have kept us sick for so long.

Please keep us updated when you do check the RF. I would be very curious to know if your RF came back (-), which would mean you fixed the Autoimmune as well! Yay :)

I just wanted to poke my head in and say HI. I can understand why you don't post as much. It's nice to see someone recover, and I'm glad you are enjoying your grandson.
