Does anyone know how this happens and why? I have severe edema in both legs all the way up and down and they hurt. You can tell it is like the blood flow is being cut off by the water in my legs.
Does anyone know what causes this?

I take HBp with diuretic in it would it cause that?
Should I have my heart checked?
    Love some feedback

Hensue, I agree if this is unusual for you, I'd contact your Dr. If you're taking a diuretic, you'd think you wouldn't have that much swelling.

If you're getting throbbing with your swelling, it might be indicative of more than just fluid retention.

Please don't take any chances. Your Dr. will either alleviate your fears or find out what's going on.

Let us know what you find out!

If you have a cardiologist make a appt soon, this is my opinion/advice.

Your family doc can refer you to a cardiologist.

I would not put this on hold, i would be making appointment today.

    Wish you Well
