I woke up again this morning with my mouth swollen and decided to see if anywhere here might know why. This doesn't happen all the time, but I will either wake up with this or it will swell shortly after I wake up. Right now I can stick my finger right inside my lips and feel a large lump (hive?). Discussed this w/my dr, he said swelling of the lips and mouth usually is a food allergy. If so, why is this only happening in the AM before I've eaten anything? Benadryl or Claritin makes the swelling go away, but this is irritating! I switched to Tide Free and Downy Free thinking it might be that, but no change. Any suggestions, anyone?

It's way too early in the morning for me. I forgot to mention that my inner arms, right around the elbow are almost constanly swollen and hurt from the elbow down to my hands. GP and Rheumatologist have no idea why. I do have Fibromyalgia and MS. Forgot to mention that, too. I hate mornings!
