Hi, I have fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, bursitis and the doctor has not ruled out rheumatoid arthritis yet.

When the joints in my hand start to hurt, I have been noticing that the veins get swollen.

    Has anyone experienced this?

    Thanks, Tut90

My veins hands and arms get very swollen and pulse. My hands and arms look like a body builder on steroids, working out when it happens. It's crazy looking, almost monster-like. Weird and not sure why it happens.

    Sincerely

Thank you for your reply. Everytime this happens to me, I say I'm going to mention it to the doctor, but I keep forgeting to do it. I have to start writing things down. I think it's from the fibro, because I've had arthritis for quite a few years now, and I had never experienced this before.

    Thanks again,

The problem that I've had is with my wrist veins; most of the time, the left hand. The underside of my wrists will get a funny feeling; difficult to explain. It kind of pains but it doesn't last very long.

I hope there is nothing serious.
