Hey, neat, I see you are an Avon beauty advisor and I'm a Mary Kay beauty consultant, but I just buy for myself and family.

Tabby looks on the thin side in that photo. I'm comparing her to Biscuit.
I should put a photo of Biscuit on the site. Biscuit has one brown eye--it turned that color in time, and one amber/green eye.

Makes her look like a monster or something, but we are used to how she looks and she can see fine.

I have an appointment I have to leave for soon, but I'll try to get the photo on some time in tonight.

    Hugs,
    Faye
Okay, just put Biscuit's photo on. :)[This Message was Edited on 02/15/2006]

Hey ya'll! :>) Yes, that stinker is loved so much! And

YES, you can definetly tell she is on the thin side from

the way she is laying - I have put her food in the computer

room which she has taken over as her room. She lays in her

hut and sleeps so much, but when I leave her food in her

room, she seems like she gets up to eat more often, so I am

going to leave it in there and maybe this will help her to

eat more and gain some weight back. ( hoping) Her appetite

really is good, but I know she eats more if she can smell

the food sitting there tempting her vs. it being all the

way on the other side of the house. Faye - I would love to

see Biscuit! I have actually seen quite a few cats with 2

diff. colored eyes - they are just unique! I will look for

the pic later tonight! :>) Yes, when I look at Tabby's pic

from 3-4 years ago, she just looks like she has lost

several pounds - she was so heavy before. Am saying little

prayers today in my head - the thought of her having

something terminal or that they cannot control saddens me

so I am trying not to think pessimistically - I got to

thinking, and honestly, her true age is not really known.

I got Tabby when I was a manager at Hardee's and Tabby and

her 3 kittens were hanging out at our D/thru and we would

feed them scraps because we were afraid the kittens were

starving. Well, all 3 of the kittens ended up being killed

due to vehicle accidents and one night, Tabby didn't show

up at the d/thru for a snack. After I closed the store

down, I went out to my vehicle and just couldn't get her

off my mind - all 3 of her babies had been killed and she

had to know it, so I called out to her - at that time, her

name was Mama kitty. I called out to the field that

surrounded our store for about 10-15 minutes and just at

the last minute when I was getting into my car I saw her

running at full speed through the field towards me! When

she got to me, she just jumped up in my arms practically,

and that was the night I took her home with me, and she

became mine! :>) Faye, you sell Mary Kay ! I have tried

Mary Kay products before and almost became a Mary Kay rep.

They have some WONDERFUL products, they really do. It was

back in 97 I think when I was going to start selling , but

at that time you had to put up $1000 to get your business

started and I couldn't afford it. I had sold Avon

previously so I just went back to it. I LOVE selling

cosmetics, and I can get such good discounts on what I buy

for myself w/ demo prices. I still look at the Mary Kay

brochures when they have them at WMart in the breakroom (

when I am working - am on a LOA right now) . I like

looking and comparing products! LOL Carla I guess I better get offline in case the vet is calling! They said it would probably be around 3 or 4pm at the earliest, but just in case!
P.S. Meant to put in there that I had got to thinking, and it IS POSSIBLE that Tabby is 15 years old and not 13. When I took her in from the d/thru she looked to me and my mom like she was about 1 year old, so we calculate her age from that, but really, she could've been 2 or 3, I just don't really know! She had 3 kittens, but I don't really know what age female cats start having babies, and I am assuming that was her first litter because of the size she was, but I could be wrong on that too. If Tabby is more like 15 years old instead of 13, the weight loss would make more sense to me, you know. ??????? LOL Carla [This Message was Edited on 02/15/2006]

    Carla,
The pic is there now, I wonder what happened? Did you have to put it back on?

I hope you get good news from the vet.

Thanks for the compliments on Biscuit.

    Mari,
Thanks, yes, Biscuit is a special cat for my husband. lol Actually she has been sneezing a lot today and I wonder if she has fleas again? I just don't know how she is getting them. Will have hubby comb her tonight and see if we find anything. She just saw the vet in December.

    Hugs to you both,
    Faye
