I just had the pressure checked in my eyes. It's in the high end of the normal range. My doc keeps good tabs on this to prevent glaucoma. So far, I don't have it and everything, including the optic never, is healthy. I'm lucky to have such a consciencious doc.

Macular problems run on my Mom's side of the family. My doc said to get the Omega 3 oils by eating salmon or taking fish oil capsules or flax seed oil. He also said to get at least 6 grams of Leutine. I got a vitamin which contains this and other vitamins which are good for the eyes.

Whenever I do something preventive, I usually post here as a reminder that we have to continue to take the precautions to prevent additional health problems. We have so much on our plates and sometimes, it seems all we do is run to doctors, but it's really important to take care of the preventive things as well.

Next is the dentist. A little piece of a filling, in a crown where I had to have a root canal through the crown itself, has come out. It's always something!

My left eye has some inflammation above the eyelid. Im going to my doc and ask to see a specialist because it has not gone away. I had nasal polyps last year but thanks to a glutathione nasal spray they are gone. I don't need the surgery. Im wondering if the inflammation above the eyelid is simply the sinuses. Anyways Im going to look into it. Often times your right we stay at home and wait too long to see a doctor.

My glasses cost a fortune because I have the progressive lenses. Otherwise, I wear one reading contact lens in my eye (monovision).

Luckily for me, I can get by without glasses except for reading.

    Good luck.

ive been kinda squinting at the screen :)

the kids go back tomorrow and the forecaster said it was going to be grey and drizzley! thats my sunnies out the window and i cant walk as far as the school :(
i do have a broken pair from two prescriptions back, the left lens is in my current prescription but its the right eye thats very different so weighing up the odds i reckon i might do better with out them.

oh well, perhaps the big guy might hear me beg for the sun??????? :D
