    Hello Everyone,

I was diagnosed yesterday with Fibromyalgia. My question today is how do I tell my Employer? I have been suffering for quite some time and have taken many days off so far this year (about 10). I have also been asking for some accommodations due to ongoing migraines but so far they have not acted on any. Any advise is appreciated.

    Many thanks

It can not hurt to ask your doctor to tell your employer by writing your diagnosis on a prescription pad. You can get that fast and they, as a rule (in my experience) do not take time to send letters to employers.

Rx pad with Dx may help. That's what I did.

Thanks to both of you. At your suggestion, I got the form from HR for the FMLA.
