Can anyone tell me what type of doctor ran the viral titers on you. I have a fibro/cfs diagnosis but no doctor has run viral titers on me.

    Thanks,

    Hi Twitcher,

I saw you post slipping so I thought I'd jump in with what little information I have on it.

I never had any luck with "regular docs". I travel to Manhattan to see CFS specialists who always check my viral load.

You might want to check the Good Doc Referral on this site for one close to you or if you're in a position to,,,,travel to find one who can help you.

    Best wishes,

    Hi All,
I heard that Dr. Susan Levine was preparing an article for CFIDS Chronicle regarding labs, and correct procedures for gathering, and shipping. I'll keep a heads up for it. Levine is usually on her game...

Have to agree with you Dav2000 on Levine,,,,,,quiet and unassuming but a brillant woman who's looking for a challenge. Otherwise, why would any doc take on anything as complicated and controversal as CFS.

Hats off to all the docs that are out there working to help us..... :)

Theoretically, all should, but realistically, you should try to find someone who is on the edge of CFS treatment.

CFS support groups in your area (or an area you're able to travel to) might be good resources for good doctor referrals.
