TH1 stimulation with schisandra?

I am just trying to achieve a shift in the TH1/TH2 relation towards TH1. Schisandra is said to be effective in this respect, along with a number of other TCM herbs.

Now the problem I have is that I get an incredible headache even when taking only minimal amounts. Incidently the headache is located mainly on the right side, around the ear, where the infection (whatever it is) seems to have its base.

So I wonder what it is? I dont dare to think that such small doses could have that an effect on the immune system, triggering an immune response that causes the pain.
But I didnt hear of Schisandra causing such pain either, be it an allergic response or something else...

    Any ideas?

Those of us who are chemically sensitive can in fact react adversely to tiny amounts of things.

I read about schisandra years ago, but never tried it. I would probably stop it if it keeps happening and try to shift your balance another way.....DE
