I want to thank everyone who replied to my post about detoxification. I will keep everything in mind. I'm still mixed up about drug interactions. I agree that my pharmacist probably will take a negative view of this. Tomorrow I'm going into the health food store and talk to the owner and show her the protocol. I trust her and think she'll be able to help. The bad thing is that I can't get the stuff from her. She's not allowed to sell the UltraClear. I'll have to figure out where to get it. Anyway, thank you all!!!!!

I'm going to look up the website. I have a little fear of doing this - I don't want a bad interaction and end up dropping dead!

    UltraClear PLUS®
    Metabolic Detoxification for Imbalanced Detoxifiers

UltraClear PLUS, provided as a powdered beverage mix, is a patented† medical food designed to support patients suffering from symptoms and conditions associated with toxicity such as:

    — Alcohol/chemical dependency
    — Atopic disorders
    — Chemical sensitivity
    — Chronic fatigue syndrome — Fibromyalgia
    — Food allergy
    — Generalized arthralgias
    — Migraine headaches

Provides the same great macro- and micronutrient base formula and benefits as UltraClear, but with added support for those who are "imbalanced detoxifiers"—people with low Phase II activities.
Imbalanced detoxification may be due to genetic predisposition, a history of chronic nutrient insufficiency, and/or toxin overload, which can result in a buildup of reactive oxygen intermediates and a subsequent increase in symptoms and/or tissue damage.
Features added glycine, taurine, sodium sulfate, and catechins from decaffeinated green tea to better support Phase II activities.
Safe for long term use in individuals with chronic exposure to toxins.
Comes with a Quick-Start Guide or a more comprehensive Patient Guide for complete program guidelines.

I tried to go onto the website, but you have to be a practitioner and fill out a whole rigamarole to get into the site. I tried and couldn't do it. Does anyone know how I can get on without being a practitioner? Thanks.
