Received my notification today that I won my case. My hearing was Nov. 20. I applied January 2008 and received two denials. My disabilty was based primarily on fibromyalgia. Allsup represented me after my first denial. Just wanted to tell everyone else waiting that there is hope. I am still in somewhat of a shock. Happy Holidays!

    and Happy New Year!

Now, in 2010, maybe they'll have an FDA test for XMRV,
and you can get tested, and have treatment for a CURE!

Don't spend all that back pay; you might want it for a
    plane ticket to RENO, NV.

Hope you know what XMRV is, what I'm talking about...

    Anyhow, MERRY, MERRY, MERRY...great news!

What a wonderful gift for you! Happy that you shared the wonderful news. I'd be curious to hear more about filing primarily on Fibro. - your personal experience....sometime, no hurry. Relax and enjoy the feeling and get ready for the holidays!

XMRV isn't related to Fibro is it? My Dr. is pretty up on things and hasnt mentioned anything about that. I've only seen it here and haven't read up on it because I didn't think it applied to Fibro only CFIDS.

    Am I incorrect?? =)

I am almost positive that I read that they found XMRV in
something like 40% of the patients with FM, but do not
think they were PART of the study that was published; I
think they were tested, as were autism patients (40%
also). Oh, I remember: Dr. Nancy Klimas has a video in 12
segments on UTube...that's where I saw her graphic
showing the percentages! Don't know what segment, maybe
#5 or #12...try looking at those first.

They may show the figures on the WPInstitute dot org
site, why don't you check it out?
