    Hi there!
I read a post where you were talking about your husband see's Dr. Penebaker here in Hattiesburg and was wondering if he was real educated about fibro and all. I live outside of Hattiesburg near Runnelstown and currently see a Dr. in New Augusta that helps me some. She says that she knows about Fibro but acts like she is not real interested in treating me for it. She has me on a mild pain reliver and refuses to change it to anything else. Even when I have told her that it don't hardly work anymore. And she has even went as far as telling me that she doesn't belive in and doesn't want to hear about anything that I have found on this site containing new treatments, info, and all. I use to print out articles that I have found on here that were written by other doctors and she refuses to read them! She even had me go take trigger point injections that were so horrible that I told her that if she sent the doctor that administered them back around me that I would seriously hurt him!! He even gave me injections in my temples!! I could hear the fluid come out of the syringe into my head! I have 2 more months to go and I will be on hubby's Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, and then I'm making her give me a referal to a Rhume or a pain specialist! Also I wanted to know if you know of any support groups here in Hattiesburg? If so would you please send me the info? Thanks for letting me vent, and tell your husband I said good luck & God Bless You Both!

Find another doc. BC/BS usually has a big network of docs to choose from and you should be able to find someone who is knowledgeable about our illnesses.

    Good luck to you.
