The message below was sent to me a week or so ago. I was, like many of you have been lately, very depressed. My best freind died and several other things, you know it does catch up with us.

This helped me get better so I want to share it you in hopes it helps someone. We are all in this world together. Carla

Caffey read this on the chit chat board and requested that I post it here.

The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember ...

    Noah was a drunk
    Abraham was too old
    Isaac was a daydreamer
    Jacob was a liar
    Leah was ugly
    Joseph was abused
    Moses had a stuttering problem
    Gideon was afraid
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
    Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
    Elijah was suicidal
    Isaiah preached naked
    Jonah ran from God
    Naomi was a widow
    Job went bankrupt
    Peter denied Christ
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
    Martha worried about everything
    Mary Magdalene was ...
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once
    Zaccheus was too small
    Paul was too religious
    Timothy had an ulcer ...
    AND
    Lazarus was dead!
    Now! No more excuses!
God can use you to your full potential.
Besides you aren't the message, you are just the messenger.

    And one more thing ...
Share this with a friend or two ... In the Circle of God's love,
God's waiting to use your full potential.

    1. God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.

    2. Dear God, I have a problem, it's Me.

    3. Growing old is inevitable ... growing UP is optional.

    4. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.

    5. Silence is often misinterpreted but never misquoted.

    6. Do the math ... count your blessings.

    7. Faith is the ability to not panic.

    8. Laugh every day, it's like inner jogging.

    9. If you worry, you didn't pray . If you pray, don't worry.

    10. As a child of God, prayer is kind of like calling home everyday.

    11. Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

    12. The most important things in your house are the
    people.

13 When we get tangled up in our problems, be still.
God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.

    14. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.

15 He who dies with the most toys is still dead.

Laughter in truth about the people God chose to use. And us too!

I like #10 and #13 the best - they resonate the most with me today.

That is so good and funny too.

I guess there is hope for us all.

Sorry about your friend, I know it is very hard!

    Love from Denamay

I have my account set up to email responses to me and when I saw this come up I had forgotten all about it. It seem Julie found this in my achives :) Hmmm Julie.

I had posted earlier on the chit chat board that I have been mia because I have been very depressed as I had lost another freind recently and just other issues of life you know.

So thank you Julie for reminding me of what I do have to be grateful for and I have many things. I am glad the rest of you appreciated it as, some things are worth repeating. Thanks-Carla

    Now this was really something!

Since i have had lots of alcoholics (drunks) in my family, I was and still am a daydreamer, used to be a stutterer, am afraid lots of times still, have long hair, have had suicidal thoughts in the past, have felt bankrupt if not actually been in a long time, have a near ulcer, and worry about lots of things, I am very pleased to see I am in such august company as those mentioned above.

Thank you both for posting...some of of those sayings were so spot on...!

    God Bless
