    Hi there
just found out I have a low thyroid
I was put on 25 gm of levothroxine tabs
I'm hoping that this will be an answer to some of the fibro symtoms I have been having over the years
    chronic pain and also fatigue
I did read some of the old post of thyroid problems but would love more of any info.
    I guess I have a low thyroid.
I made my doctor do a test, she didn't want to and told me I had already had one
but I wanted a complete panel (I think that's what it is called),
anyway I am also looking for a good website, know of any?
    thank you and God Bless
    Lisa

I was diagnosed with Hashimotos thyroiditis years ago, and despite the fact I have one half of my thyroid shrunken to pea sized and three large nodules on the other side, my blood work for T3 and T4 has always been normal. My endocrinologist took samples by needle biopsy directly from the thyroid to determine I had thyroid disease, which also showed in uptake scan too, as in some cases T3 and T4 is in "normal" range but still there is a problem so it is always worth mentioning to any doubting doctors there that if it looks like thyroid it could be.
