I've heard tinnitis mentioned as "ringing" in the ears, but I get buzzing . . . is this the same thing. It isn't a constant, but an intermittant thing. (I'm not sure how else to descibe it). I don't know if I have it all the time, but I notice it only sometimes when I lay down for a nap or to sleep (not every night). Is the intermittent buzzing sound the same thing? It seems like if I'm upset or having a really bad day the buzzing is much louder and more noticeable. Is it like this for you also?? Thanks! Terri

I see this complaint on the forum semi-frequently and it is probably rather common. My mother had meneire's, one side only and after many years of progressive suffering, she finally had the surgery to sever the equilibrium nerve. She takes Klonapin, low doseage, to relieve whatever type of anxiety this causes. Love Lil'
