I've been checking into my son's triglyceride level, and our doc here in town says it's only slightly elevated, and that exercise (mild) should take care of it. Also avoiding high fat foods. We are seeing our other doc on Thurs., whose office is 2 hours away from us. I'm taking a copy of his blood test and plan to ask him about it too. He's an MD with a natural bent, but will prescribe drugs when he feels it is necessary. Since it is a 2 hour drive, we can't get to him more than once a month. I'll let you know what he says...

    maybe you're out shopping!
We saw the other doc, and he also said the level of triglycerides was not so high as to need meds, just exercise, eat right and keep watch. I've decided to cut out sugar (after Christmas) and that should help the whole family. John doesn't overdo the sugar- I think he knows it makes him sick. But he could use a dietary tune-up as well...
    Have a blessed Christmas! Terri
