I went to the website you suggested for sleep masks.
They sure do have an assortment.
I really can't stand the sleep mask I have.
Granted, it was very cheap. I don't find
it effective and I find the satin or whatever
it is made of very sticky in hot weather.

I noticed that these masks say they are satin-lined.
They also say they have extra padding in them.
Are they hot in any way because of bulkiness?
Does the satin backing stick to your face?
Can you see light from under the eyes where the
nose is? LOL Sorry for all the questions.

which is interesting since I'm such a cotton, linen, silk or nothing person. I can feel polyester in any fabric. I live in Southern California and am hot-natured, but so far it doesn't stick. I think some of the peeper sleepers are cotton on the outside, so you could flip it.

Yes, it blocks the light all around.

    Thanks for the response!
I cannot believe how stupid I am!
I usually am a very resourceful person.
It didn't occur to me to wear it inside-out.
My brain really does need some fine-tuning! LOL

I think I will get one. It certainly can't hurt! At least
    I hope not!

PS Seems there are a few of us (journalists, writers) around!
