I want to try magnesium, but the cost of Pro-Energy is too much for me. I know, I know, you may ask what is my health worth.....but I really, really don't have the money. If I bought ProEnergy I wouldn't be able to pay the electric bill this month. For real.

So my question is: can I take ANY magnesium? Do I need the extra ingredients Pro Energy has in order for the magnesium to be effective?

Would really appreciate your opinion on this.

    Thanks!

Before I bought Pro Healths magnesium Glycinate, I paid $29.00 for a month supply of another brand. As it turned out, I could not take it, it made my IBS flare up.
I also bought another brand that was more expensive than that and I could not swallow the giant size of the tablets. Gave both bottles away.

I do not know if the cheaper brands are as good as ProHealth's, but I can tell you that I have no problem digesting them, and I WAS TAKING PRO HEALTH'S products before I even had a computer! So I am not so much promoting this company, but simply telling anyone what works for ME, thats a fact.

The Pro Energy is on special at ProHealth right now, its; $17.95 for one bottle of 180 capsules, or 2 bottles for $35.90 AND you get another bottle free if you buy two thats about $11.96 for each bottle of 180 capsules.

I can't see where you would find a better deal than that one even at WallyWorld.

Sure hope you can get it. Pro Health's products are the finest, and thats not because I am a Moderator, that is true.

I am only paying about $7.18 a month for my ProEnergy because I signed up for the automatic monthly package. At first I was ordering ProEnergy, Magnesium Glycinate and Magnesium with Calcium. With the shipping costs this was only around $25 a month. I used to take New Vision supplements which are terribly overpriced even tho I liked the product. But they didn't have anything specifically produced for people like us with this DD.

I now changed my shipment to include ZMA and excluded magnesium and calcium. True I will now spend about $41 a month but I think I would rather have the benefit of being out of bed more often (I was in bed 20 hours out of 24 hours a day for 3 years) than not.

I understand about money. I had to wait several months after finding out about these products before I could even afford to send for them. But I have not found anything as inexpensive that actually has worked for me. I tried a product from my naturopath that had some of the same ingredients but it was more expensive and did not do the good, at least for me. I also went to GNC and got some magnesium product but it didn't do any good.

Also - it does take about a month or two to actually see results if the supplement is going to help you.

I have had some very good support from this website and hope that something I say will make a difference. If you can borrow the money to get the ProEnergy and even sign up for an every other month delivery you will receive the lower price. If you can't figure out how that works call customer service.

    Hope this helps a little.

I have some overtime coming up next week so perhaps I can swing the purchase then. I'll have to come up with it somehow because I can't stand this fatigue anymore!

What worries me is that I may have to take it a month or two before I may see any effect. Every time I do that it seems all I gain is more room in my wallet. I've spent alot
of money on different remedies over the years, taken pills and pills and pills, waiting every day to see a difference, then NOTHING. It's such a disappointment.

I know different things work for different people. I also know other people go through this trial-and-error procedure also.

Sorry I'm being so negative. I'm just feeling disgusted with the whole thing. Not having any money sure doesn't help things. If I was a movie star in Hollywood I would have all the doctors and remedies at my fingertips. Maybe take my private jet to get to the specialist! ha ha! But regular people like me just have to sit around and suffer and wait for old age to end their misery. What a way to live.

Thank you both for your input.
