I've just ans your mail to me but forgot what you'd asked me whilst writing my response!!!!
I WAS on amitryptaline, 120mg at night. that is the max dose I could take, unfortunately they did nothing for me.
I am one of those people that get used to medication quickly!! Was put on Zopiclone for the lack of sleep and for the 1st time in 8yrs I actually didn't remember waking in the night!! It only worked that once!!
Am not supposed to be on anything else whilst on Guai but the pains been that bad my GP gave me co-dydramol.
My GP, bless him, thought I was getting better!!!!!
He doesn't understand it at all!!!
Over the last 2yrs the painkillers Ive been prescribed are getting stronger. Am hoping the Guai starts to work because I don't fancy morphine!!!
    LOL Sandra :)

I've only been on this site 2 days!! I love it. I don't feel like I have to justify myself to anyone in proving that my symtoms are real and not in my head and I know I won't be judged for my moaning!!
I hope none of my kids have to go through this.
The worst thing I found with the amitryptaline was that I always seemed to be thirsty.
Hope you have more joy with it than I did.

Only just managed to get on the site . Had to sign off about 10 last night was shattered. Had to get up early to get into town this morning to fight my way through Slaters!! I'm a last min shopper!! Got the uniforms though!!
Back to FMS. I don't think it's hereditory! Think mine was the Toxemia over 1st child that was the trigger. I definitely had the symtoms when I was preggers with number2! Pregnancy could have been the trigger for me and as far as I know neither of my parents have any form of this, but my mum does have something called ( excuse this spelling) diviticulitus!! That means she has trouble with her bowels and CAN run in families! IBS is bad enough God help me if I get that! Mind you I cope with this so that should be a walk in the park!!!

Had a really bad day yesterday and todays been pretty much the same!! Did a lot of walking round town with the 9yr old daughter yesterday and don't supposed that helped. Tried to take it a bit easier today but it's hard when you've a family!! Hubby is a gem, don't think he quite knows what to make of the FMS.
On the up side though I didn't feel as down in the dumps today like I did yesterday!!
Yes I did manage to get all the uniforms. Typically got the wrong size shirts for my eldest(14), not too impressed by me!!
We all try to do things we know we shouldn't then pay for it later. I think it's called DENIAL!!
Have a rest tomorrow!! Garden will still be there when we're long gone!!!!!
    LOL Sandra

I know why I've not been down today, I'm bloody angry!!
Don't know about you but I get realy fed up reading things Drs have written in magazines 'offering' their views out to everyone. How can they understand how we feel if they don't have our symtoms.
My mind is going in-to over-drive now and my neck arms and back are killing me!! Pain killers not working and I NEED to go to sleep!!!!
Am going to log off now and have another none restful sleep night!!!
Hope we both feel better tomorrow. Look after yourself. 'Speak' to you soon.
    LOL Sandra

Know how you feel on the shopping score!! I go to Morries tomorrow.
Just wrote you all about my day and the computer turned its self off!!
Pain, Pain and more Pain!! Normal today!! Guaifenesin is making me feel pain more today but it has to get worse before I should start to feel the benefits!! That's the plan!
Yes the kids are back to school. Thank God! Mind you though we do still have 2 at home and they're more noisy than the big ones!!
Hope your daughter enjoys herself at 'big' school!! Tell her not to worry, it's not too bad.
Going to win the Euro Millions this week. I always think positive. Not worked yet but it could be ME!
Hope you relax more. Take it one day at a time.
    LOL Sandra

I lost a baby in 88. Only gone 11weeks and was totally devistated. Only understand a little of what you feel, Don't think I could have coped having a stillborn. Sister-in-laws lost 3. Her last one was a little boy. She called him Jack.
Did your FMS start then? Try to think back because that could have been your 'trigger'. Still hurts to think of the one I lost but now I think a bit more possitively!! I do believe you are sent these trials, don't know why. My eldest daughter was in hosp at 10 weeks with meningitus. Could have lost her. At the time I didn't think like that. It all went over my head the Drs were saying. Must have been my own body's way of helping me cope. You are NOT alone.
Just going to pick the kids up now. Might only beable to get back on later. It will be feeding time at the zoo!!

If it's any consolation, it DOES get easier. You will never forget but it WON'T hurt as much.

I don't want to put you off physio but....Get some info printed off the internet before you go just in-case they DON'T know what FMS is.
Had physio just after xmas on frac/foot. They had never heard of FMS!!!! I didn't know if the pain I was in was from the foot injury or the FMS. Believe you me I'm not a mard arse when it comes to pain, infact I know I have a high pain thresh hold Specialist said I have but the exercises really hurt. Got looked at as though I was soft. Felt like hitting them.
If it really hurts and is uncomfortable tell them and refuse to do anymore!!
    Good luck when you go.
    LOL and Hugs...Sandra

Want to dig a hole today!!
Know how you feel. Been in this 'flare' up now 3 months! Feels like there's no end in sight. Mind you though being on the Guaifenesin doesn't help.
Wish I was the little worm in the icon with a hole to go in. Not very pos today.
Love the photo, I will be looking out for you when I'm on my travels. Am having trouble with comp and can't get in to photos to put mine on!! Mind you that's not a bad thing, I'd frighten the living daylights out of you!!
Depression's been creeping in lately. Been trying to deny it but can't any longer!!
I'm right handed but my left side seems weaker, it's my left side that's giving me the jip most!! Head to toe pain.
I think the choc posting was good. I'm always craving it. But I only crave for cadburys!! Can have mars in etc but don't want that.
    LOL and hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,

Was really bad yesterday. Got up this morning still irritated and decided to clean the kitchen!! Don't know about you but it works a treat getting the stress out!! I know I will suffer more later but what the heck.
Couldn't go back on the site after I'd spoken to you, my mood was terrible. I felt like commiting murder. And no the family weren't any help at all, they just added fuel to the fire!!!
I suffer very badly from PMS and the worst is my temper. You would have swore that I was PMSing yesterday. I get so frustrated. I went to see the GP about it a couple of years ago and told him that I could gladly stab him and not give a toss about it!!! He sugested I went on the pill even though I'd been sterilised after my 4th child. I had to remind him that I had to be taken off it, they thought I'd had a stroke!! All my left side went numb but I was getting really bad migranes too. Had to be sent home from work with it! Had ecg done at hosp and everything came back ok. That was the end of that.
I still get migranes and have to watch what I eat, I'm saying that eating cadburys, that's the worst culprit for me!! But (this is how my mind works) my piankillers are due so that should keep the migrane in touch!!
Hope you are feeling much better today.
Will be staying on site for an hour or so.
Am trying to keep on top of the washing!!
    LOL and hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,hugs,

10 doesn't work in this house!!

I think ALL kids know when their mum's are wound up.

I WARN my hubby when I'm due on, if he decides to get in the way then that's his concern, not mine.

He actually watched a docu about PMS a few years ago. It was only then he realised why I threw a knife at him etc!!!

He got me on a bad day peeling spuds!!
It normally takes a hell of a lot to get me wound up but when I'm in a flare anything can trip it.
I've been civil with him today!!
I'm going to go on a world cruise when I go on the menopause!!
Don't know where I'll get the money from (didn't win either lottery!!) but I think my family put up with enough.
    LOL
