i'm considering a leap of faith and a move to rhode island to take some continuing education courses in multimedia at RISD. i'll be visiting end of the month to take a look around. i'd love recommendations on the best providence neighborhoods. warwick and cranston were both just ranked in the top 100 places to live in the US. what about pawtucket? east providence??

oh, and how are the winters?? :)

Warwick and Cranston have nice residential areas, outside of the city. But, if you like the hustle and bustle, they both have plenty of city life. The winters are cold, and we get quite a bit of snow, some years. The wind is also bad in the winter, so if you don't mind cold weather, it would be a good experience for you. Just need to dress for the weather.

    Good Luck!!!
