    Hello Victoria!
I just saw your Post on the Lyme Site and found it
very informative!! Thanks for Posting it as I am pre-
paring to get the Ingenex Test in the next couple of
weeks and background on research etc. is very pertinent.

As you know, my adult daughter has hd Lyme for years
now but generally is doing well. Happily, she has been
accepted into a Masters Program this Fall and is very
much looking ahead to a productive year.

Showed my former "Squeeze" you Bio. Pic when she was here
to visit and she got a "kick" out of it!

    Thanks again and take care,
    MRDAD

Sorry, I haven't been around much the past week or so, and missed this until now. LOL, glad she liked my portrait, hehe!

I don't know if the Incline Village 'event' was ever linked to Lyme or not... saw somewhere a reference that aerosolized mycoplasma might've been sprayed there tho, but not sure at all if that is a rumor or true.

Just my opinion, but it seems that if one has one stealth pathogen whether it is lyme or mycoplasma or babesia or (fill in the blank), that it seems to open the door to the others eventually.

I have read that in our gut we have organisms that would normally kill us but they're held in check by the 'good bugs' (bacteria)... one good reason we should use probiotics no matter what, was we've all taken abx at one time or another.

So I wonder if some of these things are already in our systems and are opportunistic, or introduced and then the appropriate other bacteria or whatever aren't there due to overuse of abx or impaired immune system already, and can then take over or add to the whole picture.

so, there's my unscientific rambling... lolol...

Please let us know what happens with your testing, and, more importantly, what your doctor decides to do! (And -Just remember how well your daughter is doing! )

(I hope the same will come about for my now 19 yo son... he is currently on a 3 week off all abx, and then one week on abx, for the next 3 months to let his immune system rest, as things were herxing like crazy. Amazingly, after 3 weeks of no abx, for the first time he actually felt better instead of worse when he did the week of abx; I expected the opposite as it has always been his response. So, keeping our fingers crossed, and curious to see what is decided in October when he goes back.)

    all the best,
    Victoria

Thanks for the response to my inquiry about the Incline
study. My understanding is that the study had a link to
similar East Coast events. I'll try to research it fur-
ther and let you know what I find out!

My Daughters B'Day is tomorrow and her Middle name is
Victoria after a Grand Aunt of mine who was a strong
and wonderful women. I'm sure all you "Victoria's" fit
that discription. Best wishes for your Son's continued
road to wellness. It leaves me emotionally upset to
see young people going thru things like these illnesses
when there lives are unfolding with so much hope and
    promise.

Thanks again Victoria and will"talk" soon,
    MRDAD
