Confine Yourself Into The Arms Of Jesus "While Jeremiah was still confined in the courtyard of the guard, The Word of the LORD came to him a second time: This is what The LORD says, He Who made the earth, The LORD Who formed it and established it-- The LORD is His Name: 'Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.'" (Jeremiah 33:1-3 NIV) How do you find yourself today? Are you caught up in the middle of pain and suffering, confined in the courtyard of lonliness, depression and despair? Is your hope and faith in God seem to be pulling you, like a rug swept beneath your feet? Chronic illness and pain can do this to us. What do you do when these "feelings" come by? Some of us may get so self-absorbed by them that we lose our trust. We feel no one understands, no one cares and cannot seem to see the forest through the trees. The LORD God has told us to "'Call to Him and He will answer us and tell us great and unsearchable things we do not know.'" Are you doing that? Are you calling upon God? Upon Jesus? Are you asking and praying for His will in your situation. All has come from God, the earth and all in it. We are His creation, made in His Image. "So God created man in His Image, in the Image of God He created himl male and female He created him." (Genesis 1:27 NIV) You matter, you are of value. God never promised that we would live a life without pain nor suffering, but He did say that He would always be with us. Does life have you scared to the bone? Listen to what our LORD Almighty has said, "'Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.'"(Joshua 1:9 NIV) God goes with you always, wherever you are and wherever you go. All you need to do is reach out and call to Jesus and He will be there. Won't you grasp the Hand of God in prayer today? ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Kay DeCarlo, devotional coordinator for Rest Ministries lives with her husband and sweet dog, Daphne in beautiful New England.
