Not that I do not shower daily or thereabouts LOL

Our house does not have a bath tub. When we bought it, we had thought we would be able to remodel within 2 years or so....well, then we found out we had basically fallen for the old *First Time Homebuyers Stupidity*. Our house needs more work than it would ever sell for....but still we love out little place and are going to fix it up ourselves.

But, I have not had a bathtub in 6, for my birthday on Saturday, we are staying Friday night at a hotel with HUGE soaking tubs in the main room, right next to the fireplace and bed };-)

I used to soak every night in the tub to ease the pain in my body, but have not been able to do so, since moving into our house. And a shower just Does NOT help me relax and ease my pain.

It is my birthday present to myself...admittedly it helps that it is our *sister* resort, you see I work for a resort hotel, and cannot stay in our hotel. :-(

But anyways..I just wanted to share my *Hoping to feel better for a day* story.

    Many Blessings To All,

I think i'd be as excited as you, since taking a bath is such a relaxing experience. I hope you enjoy yourself and have a nice time!! I bet you stay in there so long, you end up looking like a prune! ha! Have fun!

To think I complin that my tubs are not big enough! You are so right, a good soak is great for the pain, a shower is good, but the tub is better.

Enjoy yourself, and I do hope you get that tub in your home soon too!

    Shalom, Shirl

I kinda felt silly at first posting about my bath, but I knew folks here would understand. The people at work just looked at me like I was *MORE* Nutz than I already am. (In their eyes)

I plan on enjoying the tub, and the hot tub and the pool while I am there...hopefully my hubby will join my water celebration, but if not there is a very nice TV and a casino, at the hotel as well.

(Rhainy stashed almost all the cash away so hubby can't spend too much) lol
