My father is suffering from Polymyalgia rheumatica. The doctors will prescribe the prescription Prednisone which, if anyone has taken it, knows that it blows a person up like a blow fish. He is refusing to take it again but is in so much pain. Has anyone used Transfer Factor for this condition and if so what was your success?

This is old school theory. See my response under lupus.

Thanks, Matt, for your reply. I held off on suggesting the TF for my dad and in the interim, his pain got so excruciatingly bad that he conceded to take the Prednisone again. I appreciate your input and glad that you responded.

The Heparin has blown me up like a blow fish, so it's no better in that respect. I know it's only temporary, so I put up with it.

My friend with Lupus took Prednisone and bloated up, but as soon as she stopped it, she reagained her normal weight and shape.

My prayers go out to your Dad.

    Love, Mikie
