Although I have been formally diagnosed with fibro., my mother hasn't, but she does have the same symptoms as I. Anyway, she had a routine echocardiogram today and felt excruciating pain during it, and actually is still experiencing some pain. She last had an echo 5 yrs. ago & felt no discomfort. Has anyone else with fibro had this experience? Thanks in advance!

Well, I had an echo about 2 months ago, and it was very painful when the technician had that wand pressing in certain places. It never occurred to me that they could be trigger points but I guess it is possible. It made me kind of nauseas too. However, I did not have any pain at all afterwards, so I'm not sure what to tell you there.

Hi well i have them regulaly and i do know that the wand can really hurt you
But she should tell the doc about it
    better to be safe
