Try leftover cranberry sauce in the Shake

    I still have some leftover cranberry sauce from Thanksgiving (yes, I know, it's over a week old! LOL!). I made whole berry cranberry sauce with a bit of fresh ginger. Yumm...

    So this morning I put about a tablespoon in my morning Shake (The John Gray one that Stormyskye posts about--how's that for clarification?). It was delicious! I thought the seeds may be too crunchy, but they weren't. Tomorrow I'll try 2 T.

    I might have to make another batch or two and freeze it. Then I can add it to The Shake anytime I want to. Hey, I could even do the trick of freezing it in ice cube trays!

    Cranberries are supposed to be very healthy for you!

    (This isn't OT, right? Because it's about the Shake!)

    Jay Kordich writes about the wonderful properties of cranberries. Quinonic acid becomes metabolized as quinine which is great against a host of viruses. We CFIDS people have a depressed immune system, so we can lots of infections.

    Thanks for another cool idea to add cranberries to the diet.
