my suggestion is to get a cat if you don't already have one! They really are the best deterrents.
Our neighborhood is an old established one with many lovely trees, random wooded areas, and within two block of the Great South Bay. Because of that, we have to be on our toes over the years regarding mice. We have a local exterminator on regular annual contract, and they show up randomly to do inspections. If I see something I need investigated, I call. But since we got the cat three years ago, it has been a rare problem!
Get some gopher poison. It may be crude, but it works. Maybe I'm just tired of vermin.
cheers, your mr bill
....Get a 5 gallon bucket....put a board leaning up
to it...put some food in it...they will run up the board
and fall in the bucket....
They cant get out....they just die....
Rocky, my nephew lived in an old appartment in Denver, CO years ago. He and his roommates did that exact thing. Scared the crap out of them. They knew they had a bad mouse problem, but the first night they caught 21 mice!!! Yeah, it works.......not sure how good it is though when you get down to just one or two.......Jole
