Isn't this the weekend when we turn our clocks ahead an hour?

ETA No the new title does NOT mean that you have to keep turning thr clock for an hour, LOL.

It's not mandatory. You can choose any weekend you like.

Many people are confused about when to set the clock forward, and when do we go backward,
and how does that little saying go, etc.

Here is the answer to all the confusion. In both Spring and Fall, you set your clock

The only difference is that in the Spring, you set it backwards 23 hours.

    Always happy to help.

I can't believe how early it is this year.
I remember it always being the end of April. Then they moved it to the first Sat (Sun) of April - now we're three weeks earlier.

I happen to love daylight savings time. I love those lighter evenings.

    Good one Rock!

Spring forward; fall back. The only way I remember it!

But when does spring forward occur. This weekend or next? I think it is this week but am not 100% sure and can't find it when I google.

ETA It is this weekend but as Rock says not mandatory. I love it when it stays light later!!

    So, turn those clocks forward.

Jole: That is how I always remember it as well. Spring - Forward; Fall - Behind.

I can't wait for a little more daylight. I think it always helps with the depression.

I love, love SPRING!!!!! I've heard the Robins arrived here in WI so it can't be too much longer.

Tonight is the night to spring forward !

Tonight , there was a short segment on the world news about it. Last year , our elected officials made the change to daylight savings time earlier in their belief that it would save energy.

According to the news report , it actually INCREASED energy usage by more than 1.5%.

At this point I'll bite my tongue .......lol.....:>) and say..........

    Blessings ,
