Fibromyalgia can be treated with acupunture!
The Express newspaper yesterday had a piece in it....

    Needles Hit Muscle Pain
The chronic muscle condition known as fibromyalgia can be treated with acupunture, according to new research. The condition which affects 3 to 6 percent of the population, can lead to chronic pain, fatigue, headaches and sensitivity to hot and cold.
It appears to affect women more than men.Researchersfrom the MAYO CLINIC in Minnesota discovered that 6 sessions of acupunture over a two-to-three week period significantly reduced levels of pain, fatigue and anxiety.

Thank you for the information - I haven't tried it but a few from my support group have. They reported improvement in their pain but it did require several treatments which were costly.
