    Theres something I cant figure out;
    No one will acknowledge Fibromyalgia as an actual disease or illness and people generally think its non-existant and all in our heads..... yet if you are diagnosed with it and it goes into your medical records then you are uninsurable?

    Someone enlighten me...this makes me angry!!!!!

    How true! I get so fed up of this sort of thing too. You are darned if ya do and darned if ya don't.

    It seems like they want it both ways.

    Can't win!!! Love Anne

    Does it affect life insurance also? Mine is expiring in January.

    A health insurance underwriter once told me that FM is considered to be worse than arthritis.

    As far as life insurance goes...FM should not effect your ability to get life insurance. The only thing that may not be given to you is the waiver of premium offer in case of disability.

    Hope this helps!
