Look dear ones, we all are suffering from one degree to another with
these DDs, but NOW is the time for us to put some of our energy into
the most important event of the past 25 years.

If you have been sick for 2 years, unless we all act concertedly, you
may be sick for another 25 years unless you happen to have a lot of
money and can see one of the expensive specialists in this country
    or abroad.

Follow Quayman's thread: do only what your energy level allows. Do
not stress yourself out, do not do more than you can; just join the
voices here, sign a petition, or email cfsac@hhs.gov or the CDC.gov.

If you can write up a little 5 min. talk to do over the telephone, call and
register. We will try to have a concerted voice, asking for Reeves (once
again) to be let go from the CFS program and allow for outside
researchers to give their vital input (The Whittemore Peterson Institute,
the International Association for CFS, etc.).

You must register by OCTOBER 14.

A copy of your remarks have to be at: CFSAC, Dr. Wanda K. Jones,
Exec. Sec., CFSAC, DHHS 200 Independence Ave, SW, Wash DC
    by OCTOBER 15TH.

If you just want written remarks to be put into the record, the above
    Oct. 15th deadline applies.

All speeches and written remarks are disseminated to all who are
there in person, and go into the final report after the conference is

REMEMBER: the only way HIV folks got research and treatment was
by joining together, acting out and acting up and raising he**! It's the
only way we will get help also.

I urge you to join the effort. Your help has never been more needed.

    strength to you all

I just called Wanda Jones' office, spoke to Loretta Jones (a very nice woman), who checked with Dr. Jones' assistant, who said that e-mail submission is okay to CFSAC@hhs.gov, limited to 5 pages.
