In the 70's Don McClean came out with the song "Vincent," (below) which is a tribute to Vincent Van Gogh, and the You Tube video below is the song with the lyrics on screen and showings of Van Gogh art. It's a great presentation not to be missed.

Wonderful presentation of Van Gogh paintings. I used to have the sunflowers
    print on my wall.

I don't think I've ever heard the song "Vincent" before. Kinda funny since it
was on the same album as American Pie which was number one 40 years ago.

The song "Vincent" was always been one of my favorites. Long ago I had the album that it was on and recognized it right away as a tribute to Van Gogh.

I really enjoyed the You Tube presentation of the Van Gogh paintings. I enjoyed Van Gogh since high school. Some of his work, like the skull, the prisoners and some of the faces, are so sad to me. Then other of his works like the flowers and Starry Night are ones I so enjoy.

Hey, I'm even decided I'm getting a poster of "Starry Night" with a Ragdoll Cat sitting there and getting a poster of "Mona Lisa" holding a Ragdoll Cat (see my post on Chit Chat about PET BREED IN FAMOUS ART).
