Hello everyone !! I posted a little while back asking if anyone had noticed a drastic, quick change in their vision. Well...I went to an eye doctor last vision is quite bad and I am getting bifocals. I am 41 years old and it seems odd to me that I went from have EXCELLENT vision all my life to needing bifocals in the matter of a few months. The doctor's only comment was that it could be my age ?? He did do a thourough exam so it is a relief that there is nothing physically wrong with my eyes...they just don't work too well anymore. Do you think it's just from aging??? Jackie

I'm right there with ya! I am 43 and was exactly the same. I have a theory that our eyes are affected with the fibro just as all the other soft tissue is. The focusing just doesn't work like it used to.

I was told by my eye Dr that most of the time people will need bifocals by the time they reach 40. He said that was when your eyes start to go and get wrose as the years go by.
