I visited a Naturopath in Scarborough ON yesterday that was recommended to me by a relative with this same rotten FM condition. She looked at my old blood reports and said that I needed Vitamin B12 suppliments (it said right on my reports for the last 3 years that I had macrocytosis but the doctor never picked it up) that go under my tongue. She also started me on Thyroid suppliments (pig thyroid!). I am hoping that these two things with help to lift the fatigue.
Has anyone else been put on something similar?
One of the reasons that I wanted to see this Naturopath is because she is associated with a FM/CFS specialist who work together! Wish me luck as I have to drive 2 hours to get to this doctor!

Many people on this board take B-12 supplements, either sublingual (under the tongue) or shots. I've done both, am presently doing just the sublingual type. Many people are also on thyroid supplements. I take Armour thyroid (pig thyroid). My doctor said it is better than the synthetic type.

These can help with fatigue, depending on the cause of your fatigue. They certainly won't hurt and there's a good chance they will help you.

Two hours is a haul - I certainly hope she helps you!
